Southern Connecticut State University gymnastic standouts Gabriela Dinisoe and Abby Royer will compete in the 2026 WCGNIC Championships Individual Finals on Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m. 

Dinisoe led Southern in the Uneven Parallel Bars and the Balance Beam events. In addition to her season-best 9.800 tally on the Beam, Dinisoe was also 10th on the Bars with a team-best 9.675. 

Royer was the Owls' highest finisher with a second-place routine in the Floor Exercise event with a score of 9.850. The Owls' senior is also a GEC First Team selection and is the first SCSU Gymnast to earn an invitation to the NCAA National Championships since 1997.
