SCSU Gymnastics Places Fourth at Brown Quad-Meet

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Southern Connecticut Gymnastics finished fourth at Brown's quad-meet with a score of 191.725, behind Brown (194.825), Bridgeport (194.025), and Long Island (193.575). 

Abby Royer led the way with a 9.900 in the Floor Exercise, finishing in first. The performance marked her third time scoring 9.900 or higher in the event. Ava Kelly stayed hot with a 9.725 score in the Floor Exercise, and Libby Allen scored 9.700 in the same event. 

Vault
Hannah Fitzgerald and Ava Kelly tied for the team's highest score in the vault, with both athletes scoring 9.675. Lola Sepulveda was right behind at 9.650. Jordan Villani (9.625) and Autumn Everett (9.575) rounded out the scoring for the Owls. 

Bars
Lola Sepulveda scored team-high 9.600 on the Unevan Bars. Hannah Fitzgerald and Gabriela Dinisoe were close behind with scored of 9.575 and 9.550 respectively. Gianna Schibi went first and scored 9.475, with Jordan Villani scoring 8.900. 

Beam
Gabriela Dinisoe recorded a team-high score in the Balance Beam at 9.675. Angelina Stanfa (9.650) and Mia Damiano (9.625) were close behind. Maria Chronopoulos scored 9.550, and Hannah Fitzgerald rounded out the scorers at 9.500.

Floor
Abby Royer won the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.900, followed by Ava Kelly at 9.725. Libby Allen was next at 9.700, and Lola Sepulveda scored 9.625. Haley Fitzgerald rounded out the scorers with a score of 9.525. 

The Owls are back in action on Sunday, March 15th, when they travel to the University of Bridgeport for their final regular season meet.
