SCSU Women’s Track and Field Leads after Day 1 of NE10 Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut women's outdoor track and field leads the field after Day 1 of the 2026 Northeast 10 Outdoor Track & Field championships. The Owls scored 88 points, ahead of Adelphi at 45 and St. Anselm at 41.5.

The Owls were dominant, winning five golds in the first day of competition and sending several runners to tomorrow's finals. PJ Dauphinais won the 10,000m, running the second-fastest time in program history. Southern won every field event they competed in, with Celine Bozukluian (Hammer Throw), Lily Quill (Pole Vault), and Deja Fitzpatrick-Bell (Long Jump) all taking home wins. The Owls 4x800 relay team won the event by almost 12 seconds.
