WALTHAM, Mass. – The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was defeated 3-2 in Waltham, Mass. by conference foe No. 6 Bentley College on Thursday night. With the loss, the Owls dropped to 10-7 overall, 10-5 in Northeast-10 competition, while the Falcons improved 12-5 and 12-3 in the league.
The Falcons controlled the first 50 minutes of the game scoring three times for a devastating 3-0 lead over the Owls.
