WALTHAM, Mass. - Junior Elaina Heiple (Cheshire, Conn.) finished with four points (three goals, one assist), but the Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team dropped a 21-5 decision to Bentley on Friday night in a Northeast-10 Conference contest.

The Owls closed the year with an 0-14 mark, 0-12 in the Northeast-10 Conference. Bentley is 8-8, 6-5.

Bentley scored the first 14 goals of the game before Heiple connected for the Owls. The hosts held a 17-1 lead at halftime.

Heiple added two more goals in the second half. Marissa Ryan (Waterbury, Conn.) and Jessica Kraszewski (West Haven, Conn.) also scored for the Owls in the second half.
