NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse standout Macy Vail was named the Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week for Week Five, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, March 23, 2026. This is the first NE10 Player of the Week honor for Vail in her career. 

Macy Vail helped the Owls to a 3-0 week, in which she scored a total of nine goals and had 13 points. Against Dominican (CA), Vail had three goals, two assists, five points and scored the 100^th goal of her career, as she became the seventh player to program history to score 100 goals. Against Converse, she scored a team-best of three goals, had an assist and totaled four points with two ground ball pick-ups. Against Molloy, she had a team-best of three goals, had an assist and totaled four points. Vail is ranked seventh in the NE10 in goals per game with an average of 2.63 goals per contest and is ranked sixth in points per game in the NE10, with an average of 3.75 points per contest.

Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse will travel to Caldwell, N.J. on Tuesday, March 24 at 4:00 pm in a non-conference matchup against Caldwell.
