Box Score

RINDGE, N.H. – For the second time in two weeks, junior Sarah Cebry (Burlington, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team recorded five goals in one game. Once again, she also accounted for all of the Owls' tallies in a 5-0 shutout of Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Audrey Dolloff (Raynham, Mass.) turned away all eight Ravens' shots on net to notch her first collegiate shutout.

The Owls improved to 4-5 overall and 1-1 in Northeast-10 play. FPU is 2-6, 0-2 in league action.

Cebry scored the eventual game-winner just over 12 minutes into the game off an assist from Erica Fisher (Putnam Valley, N.Y.). Her second of the day came with only 56 seconds left in the opening half on a penalty stroke to extend the lead to 2-0.

Only 26 seconds into the second half, Cebry capped the hat trick with an unassisted tally. Goal number four came on a one-timer off a pass from Bailey McGinnis (North Branford, Conn.). Cebry added one more unassisted tally to cap off another record-setting day.

The Owls are back in action next Saturday for a road game at UMass-Lowell.
