A NEW MONTH BEGINS
Coming off a win in its Northeast-10 Conference opener on Saturday, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team opens the month of October with two road games this week. The Owls travel to AIC on Tuesday before heading north to St. Michael's on Saturday morning.

STANDING AT THE TOP
With two goals at LIU-Post on Sept. 24, senior Sarah Cebry moved into the top spot for Southern Connecticut's career scoring list. She moved past Cathy Cardini, who had 101 career points as an Owl. Cebry enters this week with 108 career points.

COMING THROUGH WITH THE WINNER
Freshman Jaime Matson scored the game-winning goal in overtime against St. Anselm on Saturday, giving the Owls their first conference win of the year.

STANDING TALL
Sophomore goalkeeper Audrey Dolloff ranked among the NCAA leaders in saves/game last year, and she's on track to replicate that feat this year. Dolloff posted a career-high when she stopped 23 shots at LIU-Post last week and followed that up with 15 saves in the Owls' win over St. Anselm on Saturday. She now has 104 saves on the year, which leads the Northeast-10 Conference. She is also third in the NCAA in saves per game (14.9) and fifth in save percentage (.776).

ALL-TIME AGAINST AIC
The all-time series between SCSU and AIC is 17-6 in favor of the Owls. AIC defeated SCSU by a 5-1 score in their earlier meeting this season.

ALL-TIME AGAINST ST. MICHAEL'S
