NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Junior goalie Audrey Dolloff (Raynham, Mass.) turned away eight shots, but the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 8 Merrimack on Friday afternoon.

The Owls are now 1-3 on the year, while Merrimack is 3-1.

The game was scoreless for most of the first half. However, Merrimack's Kylee Duteau scored with 7:40 left in the first half. Then, just 111 seconds later, Lindsay Dobecki converted to make it a 2-0 game.

Katie Bishop tacked on two second half goals to make it a 4-0 final.

The Owls are back in action on Monday for a game against Assumption.
