Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Assumption's Taylor Chase scored the only goal of the game with 14:36 remaining in regulation as the visiting Greyhounds edged the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team today, 1-0.
The Owls are now 3-5 and 2-1 in Northeast-10 Conference play. Assumption is 4-3 and 3-0.

Audrey Dolloff (Raynham, Mass.) stopped seven shots in the contest.
The Greyhounds held the play for the better part of the first half and held a 10-2 edge in shots at the half. However, the game was scoreless through the opening stanza.
The Owls applied some offensive pressure early in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net. Chase's goal was one of nine Assumption shots in the second half, against six for the Owls.
SCSU is back in action on Tuesday for a road game at Adelphi.
