NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Kya O'Donnell (Cheshire, Conn.) registered her first collegiate multiple goal effort and freshman Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) notched her first collegiate shutout as the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team claimed its second consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over Molloy.

SCORING IN BUNCHES: Southern connected twice in a span of 2:20 early in the game to build a 2-0 cushion. Bailey McGinnis (North Branford, Conn.) tipped in a feed from Emily Stross (Avon, Conn.) just 5:55 into play. Then, just over two minutes later, McGinnis set up O'Donnell for another tap in score at the far post.



TACKING ON SOME INSURANCE: O'Donnell added her second of the game with 10:12 remaining off an assist from Natasha Prukalski (Danbury, Conn.) for a 3-0 lead.

HOLDING DOWN THE FORT: Craft topped five shots to secure her first collegiate shutout for the Owls.
