The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team is back in action as Adelphi heads to Jess Dow Field on Tuesday at 4 p.m. From there, the Owls travel to Southern New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon for a 1:30 p.m. start.

The Panthers have an 8-4 edge in the all-time series with the Owls, including a 9-0 win earlier this season on Sept. 13.

CRAFT EARNS PAIR OF HONORS
Freshman goalie
Brianna Craft was named as both the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week and the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week for her play in the Owls' wins over Franklin Pierce and Molloy.
O'DONNELL NETS FIRST MULTI-GOAL EFFORT
Kya O'Donnell notched her first two goal performance as an Owl with two goals in the victory over Molloy.

TEAM CAPTURES NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM LAURELS
For the ninth year in a row, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was recognized with National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2015-16 academic year.Â
