MANSFIELD, Pa. - Katie Lipski scored the game-winning goal on a penalty stroke just 1:55 into overtime as the Mansfield University field hockey team registered a 2-1 victory over Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday afternoon.

TEAM RECORDS: Southern Connecticut 0-2; Mansfield 1-1

Zoe Fanolis (Hamden, Conn.) scored her first goal of the year midway through the opening half for the lone Owls' goal. Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) stopped 15 shots for the Owls in the net.

Southern held a one-goal lead into the second half before Tatum Albertson scored just about 10 minutes into the frame. The game stayed for the rest of regulation before Lipski snapped the tie for good in overtime.
