The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will close out the 2017 season this week as they prepare for one game on the road and one at home. On Wednesday, they will travel to Pleasantville, N.Y. for a 4 p.m. matchup against Pace. Then, on Saturday the Owls play host to Southern New Hampshire for senior day and their last home contest. That game is set to being at 1 p.m.
ALL-TIME VERSUS PACE
The Setters lead the all-time series 3-0. In the last meeting, freshman
Karley Welles scored her first collegiate goal, but the Owls fell 5-1.
ALL-TIME VERSUS SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Owls have a 2-1 edge in the all-time series with Southern New Hampshire. The Penmen took the win last time out 2-0.

The Owls will honor their lone seniorÂ
Emma Perry before their last game on Saturday, October 28. Perry has been a four-year member of the squad.

Brianna Craft is ranked No. 1 in saves for not only the NE10 conference, but also the NCAA with 230 saves made this season. Only a sophomore, Craft currently leads all active goalies in the NCAA in saves with 437.

Sadie Young also netted the game-winning goal in the victory over St. Thomas Aquinas. Coincidentally, two of Young's three career goals have been game-winners, with the other one also a go-ahead tally.
MASTERING HER CRAFT

Brianna Craft had a career-high and also broke an SCSU record she previously tied with 27 saves in the Owls' loss to No. 8 LIU Post on September 12.
MAIER NAMED NE10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jessica Maier was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on Sept. 11 after she collected her first three collegiate points (two goals, one assist), which included the game-winning goal in a 4-3 win over Molloy on September 9.
GETTING CRAFTY

Brianna Craft set a career-best and tied a program-best in saves with 24 in the Owls 8-0 loss against No. 1 nationally ranked Shippensburg on Sept. 3.
PRUKALSKI NAMED TEAM CAPTAIN
