Chloe Knight (New Milford, Conn.) scored her first collegiate goal as the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 8 Pace this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Setters opened the scoring 54 seconds into the game to take an early lead. They added another one a little less than five minutes later.
At 14:50 of the first half, Knight knocked in her first career goal and first of the year from fellow freshman
Jessica Maier (Enfield, Conn.). Maier passed the ball across the cage as Knight batted it out of mid-air to cut the Pace lead in half, 2-1.
Pace would add one more goal in the first half to take a 3-1 lead going into the second frame.
The second half saw the scoring action slow down until the 64
th minute when Pace added another goal to secure their lead.
Sophomore
Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made 17 saves in the Owls loss.
UP NEXT
The Owls return home to close out their season on Saturday, October 28 as they host Southern New Hampshire for senior day at 1 p.m.
