HOW IT HAPPENED
Three first half goals proved to be the deciding factor in the Yellow Jackets win over the Owls. After a quiet start to the first half, AIC opened the scoring at 20:57 off of a corner. A little over three minutes later AIC struck again, 2-0. AIC would add one more goal at 34:33 to increase their lead to three and secure the win.
Sophomore
Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made six saves, while Junior
Kelli McCombs (Bristow, Va.) made one save in her relief.
