NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team lost to Merrimack in Northeast-10 Conference action today, 12-1.

TEAM RECORDS: SCSU (2-10, 0-6 NE-10) | Merrimack (9-3, 5-2 NE-10)

Merrimack scored three goals within four minutes of each other, and another off a corner with time expired in the first half to take control of the game. The Warriors scored eight goals in the second half to make it a 12-1 final.

Junior Jacqueline Touzos (Foxboro, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the Owls off of a penalty stroke in the second half.

Owls' goalie Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) stopped 14 shots in the contest.
