BACK IN ACTION
The Southern Connecticut State University softball team will finish out its six-game road trip against Adelphi on Wednesday, with the first game set to start at 2 p.m.

The Panthers lead the all-time series against the Owls, 33-22.
OWLS OFFENSE HOT
BryAnna McIntosh tallied two homeruns, three runs, three RBI and had a .318 batting average last week.
Sara Buscetto recorded one homerun, two runs, three RBI for the Owls.
CEBALLOS LEADS OWLS
Junior
Victoria Ceballos leads the Owls with two shutout victories over AIC and Franklin Pierce. She leads the team in wins (3) and lowest ERA (2.79). Â Â Â
D'ARCANGELO STAYS STRONG
Senior
Giuliana D'Arcangelo leads the team in hits (22), RBI (8) and batting average (.349) this season. This past weekend against Assumption she went 6-for-10, with one RBI and scored four runs for the Owls.Â
OWLS SPRING TRIP STANDOUTS
Junior
Victoria Ceballos started four games on the spring trip for the Owls, went 3-for-8 and scored two runs.
Giuliana D'Arcangelo started in all six games for the Owls hitting 5-for-15 and led the team in RBI with four.
NEWCOMER BOOSTS OWLS
Senior newcomer
Zoe Fanolis, who has starred in Southern Connecticut's field hockey team for the last four years, joined the softball team this season and is making an impact. During the spring trip, Fanolis went 4-for-9, scored three runs, and registered two RBI. Fanolis has a .296 batting average on the season.
IN THE NE10 PRESEASON RANKINGS
The Southern Connecticut State University softball team has been selected to finish sixth in the Southwest Division of the NE10 Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
