SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made 10 saves, but the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Mansfield in the season opener for both teams today.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Katie Jamison opened the scoring for Mansfield with just under 10 minutes to play in the first half. The score stayed 1-0 into halftime. Abbie Predmore tacked on another goal with 18:22 left to make it a 2-0 final.
