The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will return home after a four-game road swing to host two conference games this week at Jess Dow Field. First on Wednesday, they are set to host No. 8 nationally ranked Pace University for a primetime matchup with the Setters. Then on Saturday, they will host a Homecoming morning game against No. 4 nationally ranked Merrimack College. This game will be played in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

TEAM CAPTURES NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM LAURELS
For the 11th year in a row, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was recognized with National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.Â

The Owls head to Worcester, Mass. on October 23 for a 4 p.m. conference matchup with Assumption College.
