The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will play two conference games this week. On Wednesday, the Owls will travel to Pleasantville, N.Y. for a 6 p.m. matchup with No. 9 nationally ranked Pace University. They then are set to travel north to Manchester, N.H. for a Saturday afternoon showing with Saint Anselm.

Brianna Craft was ranked No. 1 in the NCAA DII  in saves with 266 and No. 2 in saves per game with 14.78.
TEAM CAPTURES NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM LAURELS
For the 11th year in a row, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was recognized with National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.Â

The Owls are set to continue their four-game road swing as they travel down the road to West Haven, Conn. to face the University of New Haven at 7 p.m. on October 9.
