The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will play two NE10 Conference games on the road this week. On Tuesday, Oct. 9 the Owls will travel to cross-town rival, the University of New Haven, for a 7 p.m. primetime matchup with the Chargers. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 13, the Owls will travel North to Rindge, N.H. for a 2 p.m. showing with the Ravens of Franklin Pierce University.

CRAFT RANKS AMONG NCAA LEADERS

Brianna Craft was ranked No. 1 in the NCAA DII in saves with 266 and No. 2 in saves per game with 14.78.
TEAM CAPTURES NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM LAURELS
For the 11th year in a row, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was recognized with National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
