JAM PACKED
The Southern Connecticut State University softball squad has a busy week ahead, as the Owls have 10 games in the queue, eight of which are on the road. On Monday, the Owls will travel down the shoreline to face Bridgeport for a doubleheader before facing crosstown rival New Haven on Tuesday in West Haven. They return home on Thursday for a pair of games with Adelphi and then will take a tour in New Hampshire against Franklin Pierce on Saturday and Southern New Hampshire on Sunday.
ALL-TIME VS. BRIDGEPORT
The Owls hold the all-time series with the Purple Knights, 37-19.
ALL-TIME VS. UNH
The Chargers hold the all-time series, 57-35-3.
ALL-TIME VS. ADELPHI
Adelphi holds the all-time series lead against the Owls, 37-22. The pair met last week where the Panthers took both contests.
ALL-TIME VS. FRANKLIN PIERCE
Southern holds the all-time series against the Ravens, 40-12.
ALL-TIME VS. SNHU
The Owls hold the all-time series with SNHU, 43-14.
FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET
Sara Buscetto is currently ranked fifth in the NE10 in stolen bases with 10.

Freshman Jazmyn Martinez recorded the first two wins of her collegiate career against Bentley University and Stonehill College.

Jazmyn Martinez of the Southern Connecticut State University softball team were named to the NE10 weekly honor roll on March 26 for their play in the Owls' doubleheaders against Bentley and Stonehill.

Jaime Conklin has enjoyed a nice start to the 2018 season. She is currently 15
th in the NE10 in batting average at .375.
MCINTOSH NAMED TO WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Senior Bryanna McIntosh was named to the NE10 weekly honor roll on March 13 for her play in the Owls' season-opening doubleheader on March 12.
A BALANCED ATTACK...PART ONE
Coming into the week,
Sara Buscetto has 12 RBI to lead the team in that department. Bryanna McIntosh and Delany Turner are second with nine.
A BALANCED ATTACK...PART TWO
Coming into the week, the Owls have three starters batting at least .345 or better on the year, and five hitting at least .280.
VICTORI-OUS
Senior
Victoria Ceballos had a strong start in the circle during the Owls' trip to Florida, including two wins and a shutout against Minnesota-Crookston.
IN THE NE10 PRESEASON RANKINGS
The Southern Connecticut State University softball team was selected to finish seventh in the Southwest Division of the NE10 Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
