The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team is set to host No. 9 nationally ranked LIU Post on Tuesday, before traveling to Southern New Hampshire on Saturday for a 12 p.m. showing with the Penmen.

LIU-Post holds a 21-12-1 edge on the Owls.
Last Time Out: The Pioneers defeated the Owls 11-1. (Recap 10/10/17)

ALL-TIME VS. SNHU
The all-time series is tied between the Penmen and the Owls, 2-2.

CRAFT RANKS ON THE NCAA & NE10 LEADERBOARDS
Junior Brianna Craft leads the NCAA DII in saves per game with 13.0, while leading the NE10 in saves with 53. 

OBERLY SCORES FIRST COLLEGIATE GOAL
Senior Amanda Oberly scored the first goal of her collegiate career off of a penalty stroke in the Owls loss to Mansfield on September 9.

CRAFT, MIGLIARO TABBED 2018 CAPTAINS
Head Coach Kelley Frassinelli has announced that junior Brianna Craft and senior Jana Migliaro will serve as the Owls team captains for the 2018 season.

The Owls welcome five newcomers to the squad for the 2018 season – Elana CraftJulia SchaffAlyssa HaskinsLauren Wright and Danielle Parent.

IN THE NORTHEAST-10 PRESEASON POLL
The Owls were selected 13th in the Northeast-10 Conference preseason poll. 
 
CRAFT RANKS AMONG NCAA LEADERS
Last year, junior Brianna Craft was ranked No. 1 in the NCAA DII  in saves with 266 and No. 2 in saves per game with 14.78.

TEAM CAPTURES NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM LAURELS
For the 11th year in a row, the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team was recognized with National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year. 

ON DECK:
The Owls will host American International College on Saturday, September 29 at 7 p.m. at Jess Dow Field.
