The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will welcome the University of New Haven to Jess Dow Field for an Elm City battle between the Owls and the Chargers. The matchup will feature
Brianna Craft, who is the
Owl To Watch on the field. She is coming off a record-breaking 29-save performance against Assumption. She is also first in the conference in saves this season and has clocked over 300 minutes thus far between the pipes.
Two
Chargers To Watch will be sophomores Julia Battino and Alexis Rider. Both have played in all nine games for UNH as Battino leads the team in goals with three, while Rider has two goals and 21 shots. SCSU and UNH will square off at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
