The Yellow Jackets are led by Mary Bates who has a team-leading 20 goals and six assists followed by teammate Mikayla Demanche who as 18 goals and a team-high eight assists so far this season. LAST TIME OUT
The Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team edged Saint Michael's in an overtime thriller, 13-12, at Duffy Field.

Samantha Cozzolino tallied a game-high nine points on the day with five goals and four assists, while grabbing five draw controls.

Stephanie Seymour registered four goals on six shots and also had two draw controls and two ground balls.

Laura Morton recorded 10 saves through 63:49 minutes allowing 12 goals against in the Owls' second-consecutive win.
OWLS POST BACK-TO-BACK WINS
The Owls have now won back-to-back games for the first since Mar. 13 & 14, 2018 against Saint Michael's and UC-Colorado Springs. The Owls stole the victory, 13-12, over Saint Michael's in overtime. The last time the Owls won a game in overtime was on April 27, 2016 when they defeated American International College, 7-6.

GORDON'S FIRST FOUR GOAL PERFORMANCE
With her four goals in the win over Post,
Hailey Gordon has recorded her fourth multiple-goal game of the season and sixth of her career. This is the first four-goal game of her collegiate career and her second hat-trick with the first coming on February 24 against Molloy earlier this year.
SEYMOUR'S OFFENSIVE SURGE
Over the last two games,
Stephanie Seymour has tallied 11 points with eight goals and three assists and has surpassed her points total from the 2018 season of four goals and one assist.

Brianna Grande scored the first goal of her collegiate career as well as registered a season-high seven draw controls.The last time she had seven draw control was on April 25, 2018 against Assumption.

Karlie Rowe scored four goals against LIU Post, this is the most from a freshman since Tessa McNabeo and
Samantha Cozzolino scored four on March 17, 2016 against Post.

• The Owls return 12 players from last season's squad that posted a 4-12 overall record that included a 3-10 mark in Northeast 10 Conference play.
ATTACK
• Southern's Cozzolino is the Owls' leading scorer from a season ago, where she posted 44 goals and nine assists for 53 points in 16 games.

Hailey Gordon (Niantic, Conn.) averaged a goal-per-game with 12 goals to go-along with three assists for 15 points in 12 games played.

Morgan Chase (Windsor, Conn.), formerly Hanks, had one assist in nine games.

Stephanie Seymour (North Branford, Conn.) and
Amanda Murray (Bow, N.H.) are experienced midfielders as Seymour totaled four goals and an assist in 15 games last year, while Murray will look to bounce back after missing last season due to injury.
