NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse standout Caelan Connors was named to the Northeast 10 Conference Faces in the Crowd for Week 29, as announced by the NE10 on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. This is the first Faces in the Crowd recognition for Connors in her career. 

In goal, Connors has been impressive for the Owls as she posted a total of 27 saves in a 1-1 week. In a victory against Franklin Pierce, Connors recorded 10 saves. Against #14 Pace, she recorded a season-best of 17 saves against the Setters. Connors leads the NE10 in saves percentage with 49% and is second in the conference in goals against average with an average of 9.83.

The Owls will return to action on Wednesday, April 8 in an NE10 matchup against American International College at 4:00 pm at Jess Dow Field.
