Southern Connecticut field hockey will host Mercy College on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Jess Dow Field. The last time these two teams met was last season as the Owls edged the Mavericks, 3-2, on the road behind a game-winner from junior Brianna Caffrey.

Last Time Out
In their home opener, the Owls defeated American International College on Friday, Sept. 30. Abbey Kellerman and Trinidad Rodriguez Ricchiuti scored for the Owls, while Kellerman notched her second game-winning goal of the season to lift the Owls. Kaitlyn Parent made six stops for Southern en route to her first collegiate shutout.
