Lyndsay Troisi Named NE10 Rookie of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Field Hockey Goalkeeper Lyndsay Troisi was named the Northeast-10 Conference's Rookie of the Week for Week 5 of the 2024 season. 

Troisi, a freshman from Salem, New Hampshire, has excelled in net this season for the Owls. In two games last week, she spent 96 minutes between the pipes, recording 12 saves. This included a 8 save performance against St. Michael's. On the season, Troisi is up to 39 saves, with an impressive save percentage of 84.8%.

The Owls return for an Elm City matchup as they travel to the University of New Haven on Wednesday, October 9th for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
