Albert Vargas Named to NE10 Faces in the Crowd

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Men's Basketball Junior Albert Vargas was named to the Northeast-10 Conference's Faces in the Crowd for Week 5 of the 2024-25 season. 

Albert Vargas continues to be a bright spot in his first year with the Owls, fueling Southern's offensive attack. In SCSU's first game this past week at Saint Anselm, he dropped his second double-digit assist game of the year, tallying 10 assists and scoring 16 in his first double-double as an Owl. Then, at home against Bentley, he scored a career-high 32 points, including several clutch buckets in the final minutes of regulation and overtime. 

The Owls travel to Philadelphia for their next matchup as they take on Holy Family in a non-conference battle on Saturday, December 14th.
