MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse junior Caelan Connors was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week for Week Seven, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, April 7, 2025. This is the second NE10 Goalie of the Week honor for Connors, as she was named the NE10 Goalie of the Week during Week Four, this season. 

Connors had an impressive pair of games in goal for the Owls in a 2-0 week. In a 15-11 win over Southern New Hampshire, Connors matched a season-best of 15 saves in goal. In a 20-5 win against Franklin Pierce, she recorded 11 big saves against 15 shots faced, to post a .917 save percentage, while only allowing one goal in the first half against the Ravens. In Division II, Connors is ranked third with a save percentage of 52.2% In the NE10, Connors is ranked second in save percentage, is ranked fourth in goals against average with a 9.88 and is ranked fifth in saves per game with an average of 8.73 saves per contest.

The Owls will return to action on Tuesday, April 8 at 4:00 p.m. against #7 Pace University in an NE10 matchup at Jess Dow Field.
