Anna Meserve Named To NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

Southern Connecticut's Anna Meserve was named to the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Conference team. The honor was the first of Meserve's career.

Meserve earned All-NE10 Third Team honors after appearing in 14 games for the Owls. Meserve was everywhere for Southern as she won a career-best of 43 draw controls, totaled a career-best of 33 points, scored a career-best of 26 goals, picked up 18 ground balls, caused a team-best of 17 turnovers and added seven assists.

Meserve ranked 15th in the NE10 for draw controls with an average of 3.07 draws per game and ranked 17th in the NE10 in caused turnovers with an average of 1.21 caused turnovers per game. In a 20-5 win over Franklin Pierce, Meserve scored a career-best of five goals, totaled seven points, won five draw controls, caused three turnovers and two ground balls. In a 22-3 win over Holy Family, she won a career-best of six draw controls.
