NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as a 2025 Academic Honor Squad, as announced by IWLCA, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. This is the third overall time in program history that the Owls have earned this recognition and the first time since 2018.

To qualify for this prestigious honor, each team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

As a team, Southern had a 3.4 GPA in the spring semester as Anna Meserve recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA and earned Northeast 10 Conference Academic All-Conference honors. A total of 45 student-athletes earned NE10 Academic Honor Roll recognitions, during the fall and spring semesters. Macy Vail and Amelia Mansfield were named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team. In addition, Amelia Mansfield and Heather Pritchard received the NE10 Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence with their hard work in and out of the classroom, as graduating seniors.
