NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse placed four student-athletes on the 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the IWLCA on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
Amelia Mansfield,
Heather Pritchard,
Gabriella Smith and
Macy Vail all earned IWLCA Academic Honors, for the first time in their careers. This is the first time since 2018, that the Owls have been featured on the Academic Honor Roll and have been recognized as a Academic Honor Squad, in the same academic year.
To be eligible for this prestigious honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
In addition to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll,
Amelia Mansfield and
Heather Pritchard both received the NE10 President's Award for Academic Excellence. Pritchard is a eight-time NE10 Conference Academic Excellence and Distinction recipient as she pursued a degree in Nursing. Mansfield was named to the CSC Academic All-District At Large Team and is a seven-time NE10 Conference Academic Distinction recipient as she pursued a degree in Business Administration.
Smith is a seven-time recipient of the NE10 Conference Academic Distinction and Honors as she pursued a degree in Special Education. Vail is a two-time NE10 Conference Academic Distinction recipient as she was also named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team, while pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
