NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut men's cross country standouts
Ryan Gagne,
Nate Huebner and Joe Lamburn all were named to the Northeast 10 Academic All-Conference Team for the Fall 2025 season, as announced by the NE10 on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. This is the first NE10 Academic All-Conference recognition for Gagne, Huebner and Lamburn.
Ryan Gagne had another great season with the Owls as he helped them win their fourth straight NE10 Championship and their fourth straight NCAA East Regional. Gagne finished 19th in a time of 27:37.3 and earned All-NE10 Third Team honors at the NE10 Championship. In the classroom, he recorded a 3.42 GPA while majoring in Business.
Nate Huebner had another fantastic season with the Owls as he helped them win their fourth straight NE10 Championship and their fourth straight NCAA East Regional. Huebner finished 15th in a time of 27:22.6 and earned All-NE10 Second Team honors at the NE10 Championship. At the NCAA East Regional, he came in sixth place in a time of 32:14.26. In the classroom, he recorded a 3.56 GPA while Majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
Joseph Lamburn had an another impressive season with the Owls he helped them win their fourth straight NE10 Championship and their fourth straight NCAA East Regional. Lamburn finished in ninth place in a time of 27:04.9 and earned All-NE10 First Team honors at the NE10 Championship. In the classroom, he recorded a 3.38 GPA while majoring in Marketing.
To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:
- Named to sport All-Conference team (First, Second, Third or Defensive).
- Must have spent at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution (not including the last semester completed)
- Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 (for both undergrad and grad)
