Weekend Recap
Southern will look to rebound from a 15-7 loss to No. 22 Bentley when the Owls host the Cougars on Wednesday. Against the Falcons, Karlie Rowe (Niantic, Conn.) led the Owls with three points on a goal and two assists while Brianna Shaw (Branford, Conn.) and Savannah Feinberg (Sound Beach, N.Y.) both scored twice for the Owls. Bayleigh Takacs (Sparta, N.J.) finished with a goal and an assist. Shaw also had two draw controls and caused two turnovers while Hannah Holmes (Colchester, Conn.) led the Owls with four ground balls. Michaela Rutigliano (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) also caused three turnovers to lead Southern while also totaling three ground balls. In goal, freshman Caelan Connors (Holbrook, N.Y.) had 11 saves.

  • All-time, Rowe ranks seventh in career goals (96), sixth in assists (27) and fifth in points (123).
