Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse hosts Adelphi for a Northeast 10 Conference matchup on Tuesday, Apr. 4 at 4 p.m. at Jess Dow Field. The Owls enter the game with an overall record of 7-3 including a 3-3 mark in NE10 play while Adelphi is 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the NE10.

Owls Notes
  • Southern enters Tuesday night's games with wins in four of their last five games, including three of four against NE10 competition and back-to-back victories against American International and Franklin Pierce.
  • Southern is one of four teams in the NE10 to feature three players with 20-or-more goals.
  • Bayleigh Takacs was named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Week after a record-breaking performance against Franklin Pierce. On Saturday, Apr. 1, Takacs broke the program's all-time assist record (61), the single-game assist record (6), the single-game points record (11) and also the single-season assist record (22). Takacs rattled off five goals and six assists for 11 points against the Ravens in a 21-11 win and pushed her career assist record to 61 (and counting).
  • Earlier in the week, Takacs scored four goals and added two assists for six points against AIC in a 19-9 win.
  • She's totaled six-or-more points in four of her last five games including three straight.
  • For the year, Takacs leads the Owls with 22 assists and 44 points, while her 22 goals scored are second on the Owls' roster.
  • Takacs is also one of four players in the NE10 this season with 20 goals and 20 assists to date. Overall, she ranks third in assists and fifth in total points.
  • Also against Franklin Pierce, Brianna Shaw tied the program record for draw controls in a game with 14.
  • Shaw is one of four players in the NE10 with 50-or-more draw controls for the year and ranks third in the conference.
  • Karlie Rowe is second on the Owls' roster with 35 points on the strength of a team-leading 23 goals and 12 assists.
  • Rowe has scored in eight straights, while also scoring multiple goals in her last five games of which she has totaled 17 goals and four assists. She is coming off a five-goal, one-assist showing against Franklin Pierce.
  • Kirsten McIntire gives the Owls three 20-goal scorers after totaling 22 to date, to go along with three assists for 25 points.
  • McIntire has multiple goals in seven of the Owls' 10 games including five hat tricks.          
  • Morgan Reilly has scored 13 goals and nine assists for 22 points.
  • Alexandra Ruel has found the back of the net 17 times while assisting on four more, in only seven games this season.
  • Ruel is coming off an eight-point week in which she scored four goals and added an assist against AIC and then scored two goals, with an assist, against Franklin Pierce.
  • Savannah Feinberg has scored 15 goals and passed our four assists. She also has a team-high four free-position goals.
  • Feinberg has multiple goals in six of her 10 games played with two hat tricks.
  • Shaw has 11 goals and four assists to go with her team-leading 52 draw controls. She also leads the Owls with 17 caused turnovers.
  • Hannah Holmes leads Southern with 20 ground balls while causing 14 turnovers.
