Southern Connecticut Women's Cross Country Finishes 13th at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, MASS.--Southern Connecticut women's cross country had a strong finish at the UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational, placing 13th out of 36 NCAA Division I, II and III teams from across New England competing with 360 points.

Courtney Henchcliffe led the way for the Owls with a 35h place finish out of 275 runners with a time of 22:33.19. Shortly behind Henchcliffe, was PJ Dauphinais in 43rd at 22:44.39.

Erin Sola finished 89th with a time of 23:36.01. Rae Geddes was 118th at 24:17.38, shortly behind her was Abigal Bajorek in 125th with a time of 24:25.41.

Maya Fisher placed 152nd with a time of 25:06.13. Anna Wayne finished 226th at 27:05.56 and Sarah Johnson was 259th at 29:48.11.

Southern is back in action on Friday Oct. 3 when it travels to Bethlehem, PA to compete in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
