Bajorek, Henchcliffe, Dauphinais and Sola Named to NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut women's cross country standouts Abigail Bajorek, Courtney Henchcliffe, PJ Dauphinais and Erin Sola were all named to the Northeast 10 Academic All-Conference Team for the Fall 2025 season, as announced by the NE10 on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. This is the first NE10 Academic All-Conference recognition for Bajorek, Henchcliffe, Dauphinais and Sola. 

Abigail Bajorek had another great season with the Owls as she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. Bajorek came in ninth place as she finished in a time of 24:18.8, to earn All-NE10 Second Team honors. At the NCAA East Regional, she came in 17th place with a personal-best of 23:03.65.  In the classroom, she recorded a 3.97 GPA while majoring in Pscychology.

Courtney Henchcliffe had another remarkable season with the Owls she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. In addition, she became the first-ever Owl to win an individual NCAA East Regional title in program history and she became the second-ever Owl to win an individual NE10 Championship in program history. At the NE10 Championship, Henchcliffe headlined four runners in the top 10 and earned All-NE10 First Team honors. The Owls' senior became the first individual champion since Laura Brustolon won in 2009. Henchcliffe crossed at 22:49.3, and 00:49.1 ahead of the second place finisher. At the NCAA East Regional, she crossed the finish line with a personal-best time of 21:29.00, almost 10 seconds ahead of the second place runner from Roberts Wesleyan. Henchcliffe was also named NE10 Runner of the Year and earned East Regional honors.  In the classroom, she recorded a 3.45 GPA while majoring in Nursing.


PJ Dauphinais had another impressive season with the Owls as she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. Dauphinais earned All-NE10 Third Team honors with a third place finish in a time of 23:26.2 at the NE10 Championship. At the NCAA East Regional, she was third at 21:46.15, which was also her personal-best time. In the classroom, she recorded a 3.78 GPA while majoring in Nursing.

Erin Sola had another fantastic season with the Owls as she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. Sola came in seventh place in a time of 24:00.4 and earned All-NE10 First Team honors at the NE10 Championship. At the NCAA East Regional, she was 15th with a personal-best time of  22:58.46. 
 

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

  • Named to sport All-Conference team (First, Second, Third or Defensive). 
  • Must have spent at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution (not including the last semester completed)
  • Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 (for both undergrad and grad)
