HOOKSETT, N.H. – Southern Connecticut men's outdoor track and field won the 2025 Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championship for the ninth consecutive season, and it marks the 21
st title all-time as the Owls' totaled 268.50 points. Southern Connecticut captured a total of 23 individual and relay medals over the two-day championships, which included 10 Gold medals, eight silver medals and five bronze medals.
With the women's program also winning the 2025 NE10 outdoor title, the Owls' indoor and outdoor track & field titles for both genders make it the fifth time in NE10 history that one school has won both titles in the same year, as Southern accomplished this feat four other times.
The Owls won 10 Gold Medals, individually and in the 4x400 relay.
Cameron Belton (Shot Put, Discus Throw),
Jonathan Volpe (1500, 800) and
Osaretin Osagie (110 Hurdles, 400 Hurdles) led the Owls with two Gold Medals.
Mateo Viviano (Pole Vault),
Nevan Burke (Javelin Throw),
Lawrence Hicks (High Jump) and the 4x400 relay team of
Quinn Favorite,
Malachy Murray,
James Grace and
Max Musial, all captured Gold Medals for Southern.
FIELD
Shot Put
Cameron Belton won his second-straight Shot Put Gold Medal with a throw of 18.11 meters (59' 5").
Natanael Barbosa Torres captured the Shot Put Silver Medal with a throw of 16.20 meters (53' 1 ¾").
Leo Jolly finished in fourth place with a throw of 14.62 meters (47' 11 ¾"), and
Jordan Ribeiro came in sixth place with a throw of 14.15 meters (46' 5 ¼").
Discus Throw
Cameron Belton won his second-straight Discus Throw Gold Medal with a throw of 47.43 meters (155' 7").
Jordan Ribeiro captured the Silver Medal with a throw of 42.92 meters (140' 9").
Natanael Barbosa Torres finished in fifth place with a throw of 40.85 meters (134' 0").
Triple Jump
Holden Speed came in fourth place with a jump of 13.62 meters (44' 8 ¼") and
JC Joyner came in seventh place with a jump of 13.40 meters (43' 11 ¾").
High Jump
Lawrence Hicks captured the Gold Medal in the High Jump with a jump of 2.10 meters (6' 10 ¾').
TRACK
4x100 Relay
The relay team of
Max Musial,
Noah Conrod,
Marquis Ward and
Nolan Freeman captured the Silver Medal in the 4x100 Relay with a time of 41.25.
3000 Steeplechase
Matt Speight came in sixth place with a time of 10:09.33 in the 3,000 Steeplechase.
110 Hurdles
Osaretin Osagie captured the Gold Medal in the 110 Hurdles in a time of 13.99. Joe Nahm finished in sixth place in a time of 15.05.
400 Run
Max Musial secured the Silver Medal in the 400 with a time of 48.43.
Quinn Favorite came in fifth in a time of 49.16,
James Grace came in sixth in a time of 49.53 and
Matt Kilmer came in eighth in a time of 1:38.48.
100 Dash
Marquis Ward secured the Silver Medal in the 100 Dash in a time of 10.82.
Nolan Freeman came in fourth place in a time of 10.87.
800 Run
Jonathan Volpe captured the Gold Medal in a time of 1:53.37 in the 800.
Evan McNeice came in seventh in a time of 1:55.99.
400 Hurdles
Osaretin Osagie captured his second Gold Medal of the day in the 400 Hurdles in a time of 53.86. Mekkhi Adams came in fourth place in a time of 55.85.
200 Dash
Nolan Freeman captured the Bronze Medal in the 200 Dash in a time of 21.63.
Marquis Ward came in fifth place in a time of 22.19.
5000 Run
John Glidden captured the Silver Medal and
Luca Cazzaniga captured the Bronze Medal in the 5000. Glidden finished in second place in a time of 15:24.92 and Cazzaniga came in third place in a time of 15:27.67.
Joseph Lamburn came in fifth place in 15:37.56.
4x400 Relay
The relay team of

James Grace and
Max Musial captured the Gold Medal in the 4x400 in a time of 3:17.45.
